  • Eligibility Details

    The Foundation will consider a Letter of Inquiry from a non-profit organization that provides services in any of the following eight Southern California counties:

    • Los Angeles County
    • Imperial County
    • Orange County
    • Riverside County
    • San Bernardino County
    • San Diego County
    • Santa Barbara County
    • Ventura County

    Please note that the Foundation prioritizes organizations based in and serving Los Angeles County.

    Deadline Details

    The Foundation conducts one grant cycle each year. The first step in applying for a grant is to submit a Letter of Inquiry (LOI) through the Foundation's online grants portal. The FY24 submission window for LOIs is December 1, 2023 - February 1, 2024. A similar timeline is anticipated annually.

    Award Details

    Small awards are up to $50,000. Medium awards range between $50,001 and $100,000. Large awards are $100,001 and up. Cost sharing/matching is not required. NOTE: Due to the scope of the capital grant application process, the minimum request amount for a capital grant is $100,000. If the planned request amount is under $100,000, we recommend applying for General Operating or Program support.
