Impact100 Sonoma has two annual grant award programs: Impact Grants and Community Grants. The Impact Grant does not need to align to a particular focus area. We invite applicants to submit a proposal that best serves their target community.
There are two types of Community Grants: Capital and Program.
Capital: Community Capital Grants will be awarded for any capital item or capital-intensive project an organization wishes to implement to enhance its operations or improve its programs/services. We do not support capital or endowment campaigns. (A capital expenditure is an asset that the nonprofit intends to hold and derive benefit from for a period of at least one year, and that the organization depreciates or amortizes over the asset's expected life.)
Program: A Community Program Grant can fund an existing program, expansion of an existing program, or a new program/project. Included are grants for planning or collaboration as well as for testing a new idea or a proven successful program. Community Program Grants are to be spent over 12 months. A Community Program Grant application can fund a short-term project or can provide critical pilot data necessary to support a proposal for the $100,000 Impact Grant in the following grant year. We encourage you to think outside the box” as to how to enhance your programs.
None is available.
10th Anniversary Grant: In celebration of its 10th Anniversary, Impact100 Sonoma will award a special, one-time grant of $50,000 in 2019. This grant is open to any organization eligible to apply for a Community Grant or the Impact Grant. The proposal can be for a capital grant or a program grant.
