    Funding is to be used to support the provision of direct services to victims of crime and to prevent incidents of family violence, domestic violence, and dating violence; to provide immediate shelter, supportive services, and access to community-based programs for victims of family violence, domestic violence, or dating violence, and their dependents; and to provide specialized services for children exposed to family violence, domestic violence, or dating violence, including victims who are members of underserved populations.

  • Eligibility Details

    Eligible applicants must be programs operated by a public, tribal, or nonprofit organization, or a combination of such organizations, and provide direct services to crime victims.

    Deadline Details

    Deadline for applications was March 31, 2021. A similar deadline is anticipated annually.


    FY23 Grant Applications with be released April 1, 2022, and due June 3, 2022, for an award period to begin October 1, 2022

    Award Details

    VOCA: Total available funding for FY22 is $11,804,131 and FY23 is $11,767,400 for an estimated 50 awards.

    Family Violence Prevention: Total available funding for FY 22 is $748,000 for an estimated 30 awards.

    State Domestic Violence Project: Total available funding for FY22 is $171,800 for an estimated 25 awards.
