The Dickson-Allen Foundation is an independent foundation that was founded in 1958 in Texas. The Foundation mainly supports education initiatives, social services, medical research, and community development. They have also been known to give support within the following areas of interest:

The foundation funded 348 grants to 115 organizations totaling $15,867,935 over the past five years. Past awardees include Texas A&M University, Sheridan Memorial Library, Shiner Catholic School, Sheridan Fire Department, San Antonio Children's Museum, and Alamo Community College.

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. The Board reviews applications in October and November, annually.

Award amounts vary by project size and scope. Awards are up to $500,000 with most falling between $10,000 and $25,000.
