  • Eligibility Details

    Eligible applicants include nonprofit organizations in Texas.

    Deadline Details

    Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. The Board reviews applications in October and November, annually.


    Applicants should be prepared to submit the following:

    1. Copy of current year's organizational budget and/or project budget
    2. Contact person
    3. Plans for cooperation with other organizations, if any
    4. Listing of board of directors, trustees, officers and other key people and their affiliations
    5. Descriptive literature
    6. Copy of IRS Determination Letter
    7. Name, address and phone number of the organization
    8. Copy of most recent Annual Report/Audited Financial Statement/990
    9. Detailed description of project and amount of funding requested

    Award Details

    Award amounts vary by project size and scope. Awards are up to $500,000 with most falling between $10,000 and $25,000.
